Terms of Use

An online classroom for the FAA Part 107 remote pilot knowledge exam: lessons, practice quizzes, module exams, progress tracking, attendance, and a class Community area. It prepares you for the written knowledge test. It is not flight training and it does not certify you to fly.

The Service is for students enrolled in the course and for the instructor. Accounts are for the enrolled student only — do not share your login or take a quiz for someone else. Some students in this course are under 18, which is expected in a College Now program; if that is you, we suggest going through these terms with a parent or guardian, and your rights over your own course records are explained in the Privacy Policy.

Keep your password private and keep access to your email secure, since a sign-in link can be sent there. Tell your instructor promptly if you think someone else has used your account.

Quizzes and exams must be your own work. While a quiz is open, the Service records when you switch away from the quiz window, and your instructor can see it — this is described in the Privacy Policy. Do not copy answers, share question content, or use another person’s account. Academic integrity is handled under York College’s policies, not by us.

Post questions and help your classmates. Do not post anything harassing, discriminatory, unlawful, or off-topic, and do not post other people’s personal information. You keep ownership of what you write; you give us permission to display it inside the class. Your instructor may remove any post.

Lessons, questions, and materials are ours or used with permission, and are provided for your own study. Please do not copy, redistribute, or publish them.

The Service prepares you for the FAA knowledge exam. It cannot guarantee you will pass it. Course scores are not FAA scores, and passing here is not an FAA certificate. Only the FAA and its testing centers decide your actual result.

Any endorsement recorded here reflects your instructor’s own judgment about your readiness. It is issued by the instructor, not by the Service.

We work from primary FAA sources and correct errors as soon as we find them. Regulations and procedures do change. For anything you rely on operationally, check the current FAA publication. If you spot something that looks wrong, tell your instructor — that helps every student in the class.

We aim to keep the Service up throughout the course, but it may be unavailable for maintenance or for reasons outside our control. Tell your instructor if an outage stops you completing work on time, and it will be sorted out with you rather than counted against you.

What we collect, who sees it, how long we keep it, and how to have it removed are all described in the Privacy Policy. Course records are also subject to York College’s policies for student education records.

We may suspend an account for academic dishonesty, abuse of the Community area, or attempts to disrupt or break into the Service. Anything affecting your standing in the course is handled with the College, not decided unilaterally here.

The Service is provided as-is, without warranties. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of it. Nothing here limits any right you have that cannot be limited by law, or any obligation we owe under student-records law.

If we change these terms we will update the date above, and we will tell the class directly about any change that actually affects you.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York.
